Havana Exclusive, coordinated by Havana Club, cordially invites you to share in the making of this film through the eyes of artists and writers, whether they are Cuban or just passing through.
This graphic art, recognized worldwide, is a specialty of Havana, under the auspices of the ICAIC (Cuban Institute of Cinematographic Art and Industry) since 1963. Here are several posters, designed expressly for 7 Days in Havana.
Leonardo Padura is the most famous Cuban writer alive today. He was responsible for coordinating the screenplays in 7 Days in Havana.
He and his wife, Lucia Lopez Coll, co-wrote three of the screenplays with the directors: El Yuma by Benicio Del Toro, Dulce Armargo by Juan Carlos Tabío and La Tentación de Cecilia by Julio Medem.
Padura interviewed some of the directors and actors from 7 Days in Havana and takes us on a tour of his city.
Artus is an artist in every sense: painter, photographer, writer, director...
In his famous comic, Deadpan, he offers us a 7 Days in Havana Cuba Special. His drawings and comments, always biting and realistic, recount the several days he spent on location with Gaspar Noé, Elia Suleiman and Juan Carlos Tabio.
Juan Carlos Alom, Ignacio Barrios and Alejandro Gonzalez are the three film set photographers who were present on the sets during the seven film shoots. Alejandro Gonzalez is a visual artist promoted by Havana Cultura.
Jessica freelances for Clark magazine, Radio Nova, etc., and coordinates the annual review, 20/27...
She became a wardrobe assistant for her friend, Gaspar Noé, while he was shooting his film. Jessica tells us about her first days in Havana.
